NME Awards 2016 highlights and winners

The NME Awards 2016 were hosted last night at London's O2 Academy Brixton by the delightful Radio One DJ Huw Stephens.  Live performances included Rat Boy, The Maccabees, Foals and Coldplay, who closed the show. We were lucky enough to attend the ceremony and had an absolute blast...perhaps not as much fun as Bring Me The Horizon did. The Sheffield rock band trashed Coldplay's table during their live performance of Happy Song. Lead singer Oli Sykes jumped onto rival band's table whilst Chris Martin and others sat there and looked on.  Fear not, Chris Martin had the last dig by claiming he had no idea who the band even were. Ouch. 

There were some big winners of the whole night that include Taylor Swift, The Libertines and Coldplay who scooped the Godlike Genius Award:
