The Voice UK 2016 - the battles rounds part 2

The second and final instalment of The Voice's battle rounds graced our screens at the weekend, and what a set of battles it was. It appears everyone stepped up their game from the auditions, giving the viewers a cracking show. The hard part came when all judges had used up their steals - meaning the 'loser' of the battle had no choice but to head straight home. We absolutely loved watching our ex Lucky Voice staff member Vangelis win his battle singing One by U2 with his impressive vocal range. Read here for our exclusive interview with him. 

We also have to comment on Beth vs Steve singing Crazy. Boy George was right, it should have been a total car crash! But we were mesmerized and glad Beth made it through to the next round. That being said, Steve shocked us with his control and the 'character' he brought to the song. He made it slightly dark and gothic, which was a fantastic spin. We'll miss his larger than life personality!
